The Long Christmas Ride Home

This is a poster design made for Northern Arizona University's Theater Department. They were putting on a production for the play, "The Long Christmas Ride Home," and needed a poster for advertisement. This play is about a family on a roadtrip to their grandparents house for Christmas, however they face emotional turmoil throughout their drive. I conveyed the emotional aspect of the theater production with the cooler colors of blues and purples. Butterflies also played a significant role throughout the story, so I created the silhouettes of them in Adobe Illustrator and incorporated them throughout the poster.
